
My Story
Mackynsie McKedy is a talented and accomplished young woman who hails from McLoud, Oklahoma. She is currently a junior Music Therapy major at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Mackynsie has played violin with the SWOSU Symphony Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble for 3yrs. In 2024, Mackynsie won the title of Miss SWOSU and went on to compete in the 2024 Miss Oklahoma competition as Miss Weatherford and she is currently the 2025 Miss Lincoln County and will return to the Miss Oklahoma stage in 2025. In addition to her pageant success, Mackynsie is also an award winning country music recording artist and fiddler with Clarksville Creative Sound, regularly performing throughout the United States. Her talents were recognized at the 2024 Miss Oklahoma competition where she won the preliminary 1 Rookie Talent and Overall Talent awards, and was named Rookie of the Year.
She also finished as a top 15 semi finalist. Mackynsie is not only gifted in the arts, but also has a passion for giving back to her community. She was awarded Community Service on The Rise at the 2024 Miss Oklahoma competition for her service initiative "Melodies Making a Difference" which aims to raise awareness for the benefits and importance of Music Therapy. Mackynsie's dedication to her talents and her community make her a true role model to others
